According to islanderspointblank.com the Islanders have signed checking center Greg Moore formerly a rag and left wing Matt Moulson formerly of the kings.

That is right according to Greg Logan of newsday Kovalev came up to both the islanders and rangers and told them he would like to return to NY. Both teams declined and he ended up signing in Ottawa for 2 years at 5 million per. A link to Logans full entry can be found below:

According to sportsnet.ca the leafs have signed the stay at home d-man formerly of the ducks to a 3 year deal for 11.4 million dollars. To read the full story click the link below:

Its a shame because I thought he would’ve been a good pick up for the Islanders. Oh well what can you do?

That is right according to the lighthouse twitter account and Chris Botta from islanderspointblank.com the LH project public comments have been scheduled for August 4th 2009 at 9:30 am at John Adams playhouse at Hofstra. If your only intending on going to one lighthouse meeting this is the one to go to. Show up and show your support and let your voice be heard!
Note: Tomorrow mourning at 10:30 am at the reg. scheduled board meeting the Town of Hempstead will vote on the completeness of the DEGIS.
Note 2: On Wed. afternoon at 12:30 John Tavares will be introduced during a press conference at the Nassau Coliseum. It is open to the public
