According to tsn.ca the Flyers are set to sign Chris Pronger to a 7 year deal worth 35 million dollars.
Now I wonder who they will move because I don’t think they will be able to fit under the cap. I would like to see the Isles get Hartnell but I won’t hold my breath. They will probably move Gagne or Briere. I guess we will be seeing Pronger in our division for quite a few years to come.

Tonight for a crowd of 150 + Islanders center Josh Bailey signed autographs for about an hour give a take. It was a very good turnout for a Tuesday night over the summer. The next Islander signing is next Thursday at the Sunrise Mall team store Freddy Meyer the IV will sign from 6:30 til 7:30. Bailey was a very nice and personable kid, it was fun!

According to Chris Botta from islanderspointblank.com the TOH Town Board 3 hours and 45 min after the meeting started approved the EDGIS and Supervisor Murray declared it ready for public review. Shame on the Supervisor for taking so long to get to this issue! But she did what we all wanted just wish it didn’t take over 3 hours to happen. Additionally the public comment date was set for 8-4-09 at the Adams complex at Hofstra University. If your going to go to one Lighthouse meeting come 8-4 and show your support.
