There is talk in Islander Nation that if GC attempts to slow down the progress of the LH project through not needed studies or Lawsuits that we should protest outside Franklin Ave. and the Mall over a weekend or two.  And if we can get enough people we maybe able to do both at the same time!  Post in comments if that is something you would be interested in doing.  More to come as I learn more.

To GC residents and people in general complaining about traffic there will be 55 million in developer money devoted to mitigating traffic, additionally a traffic demand management program will be created as part of the project.

There is something about the Okposos and Baileys.  You have a special bound with the home grown.  They usually become the fan favorite.  Now the new home grown is Tavares of course but the Okposos and them are not going to be forgotten

Its also fun watching the kids play and grow throughout the season.  I might speak alone but this past season for me was very entertaining.  Yes we were bad and finished in last but just to watch the kids grow and get better is something special.  Watching Okposo early in the year was totally different then watching Okposo at the end.  I expect this year to be the same, just now we get to see Tavares play and grow.
