Before I start the reason I have Supervisor in quotes is because of the way Kate Murray has acted throughout this entire process I hesitate to call her Supervisor of anything more then a loaf of bread.
In an article by everyones favorite writer Eden Laikin a letter sent by Supervisor Murray is the centerpiece of the discussion. She basically in lamens terms brought up some new stuff that was wrong with the LH Project. Why can’t we just get to the zoning hearing and do what needs to be done have them vote on the zoning and be done with it? Why do they always have to create such a freaking mess? It is unbelievable!! They all should be ashamed!! If god-forbid the Isles move I hope it haunts Murray and her cronies for the rest of their beings. I have bad news for them, if they deny this project who in the blue hell do they think will come around looking to pump 4 billion dollars into the local economy? The answer is no-one!
Wake up Kate and as the Sign guy at the Coliseum wrote on his sign “Be on the Right side of History” Vote her out on 9-3!! If your not a TOH resident encourage your friends or family to do so! Don’t forget the number to her help line is 489-6000 and the number to her office is 489-5000 and I believe her extension is 3260 but I could be wrong. Also see below or on the side bar to send in your comments for zoning for the public record!
Just Build The D@mn thing already!! This is ridiculous!!
Update: a list of Murrays’ demands
Most of them aren’t unreasonable but is it necessary to bring this stuff up now?

He has been traded to the Sharks in exchange for Johnathan Cheechoo, Milan Michalek and a 2nd round pick. Not a bad deal all the way around especailly if Cheechoo regains rookie form.
Well I am very happy that this saga is finally over!

According to the official Oilers site they have signed forward and ex-islander Mike Comrie to a 1 year deal. I personally think its a bad signing by the Oilers unless its like dirt cheap!! Comrie is horrible and has nothing left. What is next? Are they going to trade us Hemsky for Tambellini? As they would say on the SNY hit show loudmouths GM Steve Tambellini is “my goat”
According to tsn he got 1.125 million dollars for the year

Like with the Environmental hearing in Aug. there is again an opportunity for you to email the town voicing your support for the Lighthouse Project. The only difference is now your not limited in any way shape or form. Now you talk about the entire project and weather or not you think it is good. To contact them click the link below:

It is open til 9-22 the day of the hearing. By the way on that day the hearing is at the Adams playhouse at Hofstra from 9:30-1,2-5,and 6-9. Get there whenever you can. But if you can’t at least send them and email and let them know you exist.

After the other day we did lines 1-2 today we will focus on the bottom 6 forwards as they are often referred.
Line 3-
Jeff Tambellini-Frans Nielsen-Trent Hunter
Jeff Tambellini- For me in his time with the big club Jeff hasn’t done enough for him to deserve a top 6 forward spot. Hopefully Nielsen with his playmaking skills will help Jeff translate his scoring game from the A to the NHL for the first time in his career.
Frans Nielsen- In his time between injuries last year I was impressed by the play of Frans. I know many last year were scratching their heads when GM Garth Snow gave him a four year 1 way deal but it doesn’t seem as bad now does it? Hopefully he continues to build up his great chemistry with Hunter and he stays away from Mottau.
Trent Hunter- For me Hunter this year needs to have a good scoring touh and be good mentor on and off the ice for the younger players on the team. If he can stay away from the injury bug I don’t see any reason why Trent couldn’t put up stats that we have never seen from him before.
Line 4-
Joel Rechlicz-Richard Park-Tim Jackman
Joel Rechlicz- The non acquisition of an enforcer this summer basically opended the door for “The Wrecker” I expect him to continue to evolve into the enforcer of this team for years to come. When I met him a few weeks ago he said that he had been working on his fighting and with a smile said he would love to beat the snot out of Sean Avery. So I look forward to being entertained by some squabbles with him involved.
Richard Park- For all the man games lost to injury last year one person never was effected and that person was Richard Park. The small forward has great hockey sense and gives it all every shift. If he plays with this line for a majority of the year then I bet he will see another injury free season because of the protection the two guys on his wings bring. Like Hunter he is also a great mentor on and off the ice.
Tim Jackman- Possibly the guy on the Isles who gets the most out of every shift. Hence him winning the Bobby Nystrom award last year. Some have even suggested putting him on the same line as JT for a little extra protection. Hopefully he continues to improve like last summer and we end up with two very imposing men on the wings of this line.
Do you agree with my predictions? Do you think there nuts? Write about it in comments!
