Defensive Predictions!! For opening night! Top Pair!

Now that the forward lineup is complete onto the defense. This is the defensive pairing I think will be out most of the time when the JT-Weight-Bergy line is out.
Gervais-Streit
1) Bruno Gervais analysis- Bruno showed a very big improvement to his game last year after an extended period of playing with Streit so hopefully the same holds true for this year and he plays extremely well.
2) Mark Streit analysis- I think his play last year earned a top pairing spot. In my opinion Streit is one of the most underrated puck moving d-men in the league. He put up 56 points on a 30th place team. Imagine if he had been with MTL or a better team? He wouldve hit 60 or maybe close to 70. Streit will most likely be our only guy to play in the actual all-star game unless Rolo or Biron improve. (Note I expect KO and possibly JT to play in the futures game) Streit is our best player and I expect nice stats from him again and if he gets lucky he may just hit 60 points

Islanders on TV tomorrow!

According to multiple people the Islander game vs the Canucks tomorrow will be on MSG + as well as the NHL network starting at 10:30. It is a little late but hey we actually get to see a pre-season game so lets be happy and look forward to seeing what the team has to offer. Unfortunatly John Tavares will not play tomorrow.
