After battling with the flu and missing mondays game the #1 overall pick is set to make his debut tonight. Unfortunatly the stream of the game may only be open to those of Western Canada. If this is true it is a terrible job by the Isles. God forbid it gets on TV but the least you can do for us loyal fans back home is have a stream or two.
Remind me again why we are playing in Saskatoon? Many bloggers have gone into detail on the issue. It is just beyond me why we play so far away and make it so hard for the fans to watch!! Should email Chris Dey to voice your discontent!
Update: Props to the Islanders for getting ITV to stream it. Guess the fan backlash made something happen.

According to a tweet from Islander beat reporter Katie Strang Nielsen has come back to NY for tests on his knee. If it is something that is going to be nagging around for the entire year why not send a camp invite to Robert Lang who I believe is available for insurance? Hopefully its only minor and Nielsen is back asap!
According to pointblank it is his right knee that is being examined.
