According to tsn.ca the sniping winger has been traded to Toronto for a first and second round pick this year then a first rounder in 2011. Additionally he has signed a 5 year 27 million dollar deal with the Leafs.

Now, after doing the forwards and defense onto the goalies. The only position adressed by us in the off-season which will cause quite a competition. This is what I believe the line-up will be opening night:
1) Dwayne Roloson
2) Martin Biron
Dwayne Roloson analysis- Dwayne is a good solid vet who led his team to the Stanley Cup finals a few short years ago. I would be very suprised if he wasn’t the starter coming out of camp.
Martin Biron analysis- He was signed as an insurance policy. He is also a cheap trade chip. I expect him to start the year as the backup and finish the year as a starter somewhere else.

According to newsday.com Islander forward Frans Nielsen is out 4-6 weeks with a right knee injury. Some have said there happy that it isn’t worse well…I don’t know it stinks that he is hurt but at least its not 10-12 weeks like last year.

In case you don’t know Colin Campbell is the guy in charge of handing down disciplinary penalties like suspensions and stuff.
According to a tweet the Phaneuf hit was reviewed instantly and no suspension will be given because it wasn’t late, didn’t leave his feet, and wasn’t head hunting. Did we watch the same video? The video in which I saw which is on this site clearly shows that Phanuef left his feet and had his elbow leading. So I don’t know what Campbell was watching!!
Also according to Darren Dregger from TSN scrappy forward Pascal Morency is awaiting a hearing next week to determine weather or not he will be suspended for leaving the bench during a line change. Because that is what he did, they say he left the bench to engage in an altercation which is 110% false. Additionally why does he have to wait and Phanuefs decision is made overnight? Something smells fishy here and its Campbells bias against the Isles. This guys must go he is a joke and a disgrace to the game!!
Fire Campbell NOW!!!!!
Update: I have heard that Morency has been suspended indefinetly which prevents him from suiting up for the game tomorrow. I want the toughest bottom six this team has to offer get dressed for tomorrows game.
