Well tonight in Buffalo the Isles remained win-less falling to the Sabres 6-3. Here are some of my notes from the game:
-Good game from JT’s line (he shouldve had a hatrick)
-Bergys line played well
-Bailey had a good game
-Sutton needs to take the skirt off
-I thought the Wrecker penalty was iffy, he just want up to the guy and gave him a little shove. Remind me again why the Isles wouldn’t get a one dimensional enforcer in the off-season and yet they play Joel like he is exactly that a one dimensional fighter playing 2:30-3 minutes a game.
-Roloson looked terrible, someone really needs to work on breakaways with him.
-Hopefully Marty gets the start tomorrow in search of his 200th career win
If you have any others post them in comments.
Next Game: Saturday 10-17 Sharks @ Isles (Bring the bag for this one something tells me this is going to be a long game)

To start with, my title isn’t referring to every Garden City resident, just those part of the Eastern Property Owners Association. I have seen a couple people from Garden City in favor of the project including hopefully the next TOH town Supervisor Kristen McElroy.
Now to get to the article, there are quotes from the usual suspects. Denis Donnelly, Nicholas Episcopia, Walter McKenna and others. Let me start by saying that am I the only one that has grown to not like Mr. Donnelly throughout this entire process? Now Mr Episcopia says that the Lighthouse is a small city. While it is rather large it is what is needed for him (Mr Wang) to be able to make money and be able to pay for portions of the project. Also Mr. Episcopia saying he doesn’t see why it is needed might be one of the most ignorant things I have heard in this process. It would help curve the major problems Nassau County is currently facing.
Also mentioned in the article was the fact that GC and the LH group for a period of time had the same water consultants. It wasn’t til GC realized that, that they hired a new one for this project only. Prior to the public hearing the LH consultant called the GC consultant multiple times and never rec’d a call back. Suspicious behavior I do say for people that want all the answers.
In the end:
Although our hopes didn’t come through these people still exist and are going to continue to be a thorn in our side until this thing finally gets done. There backwards and selfish way of thinking blows my mind! To view the full article click the link below:

According to newsday Kate Murray and the TOH have let out details of a letter and phone call it recently placed to Charles Wang. Evidently she didn’t get Wangs hint that he wants to keep it out of the media. Either that or she just doesn’t care. While I like that she did what she did so we have something to write about, after he asking her numerous times to keep it out of the papers and for her to go right back to the papers was wrong!!
