In a rousing game tonight in Washington after 11 shoot-out shots the Isles fell to the Capitals 5-4 in a shoot-out. Here are some of my post-game notes:
-Who needs Ovy? Semin played ridiculously well tonight! Some of the moves he pulled off I was like WOW!
-Nice to see Hunter come back and get the tying goal
-What is it with Theodore? Everytime we play him we light him up. Its great, when was the last time we had a goalie pulled in the first 7 minutes?
-Green laid out Nielsen in the OT period
-Rolosons shoot-out play improved, he lasted 11 shots which is way improved from where he was in game 1
-Refs were kinda weak with some of their lack of calls
-We had a good response from Semins early goal getting 3 in the first like 7-8 min of the game
If you have anything to add post it in comments
Next game: Friday 11-13 @ Carolina
