Today for a crowd of around 170 people Islanders forgotten star goalie Rick Dipietro signed autographs.  He looked good and was confident that he would return by the middle of the month.  He also mentioned that he would going to Bridgeport this week to test it out.  He thinks he will be back before Christmas. 

One thing that caught me off guard was that you weren’t able to pose for pictures with him.  They said it was because they wanted to keep people moving and get in as many as possible.  I didn’t buy that because they had more people at the Moulson-Nielsen signing but you were allowed to pose for pictures with them.  It didn’t make sense to me other then that DP didn’t want to pose for pictures and this was there excuse to not make that public.

In his most recent entry Chris Botta of islanderspointblank.com said somethings on the Lighthouse that most probably didn’t know.  He said that contrary to a report a couple weeks ago her people and the Lighthouse people haven’t met since mid October that she lied to the magazine.  Also he thinks that Wang/Rechler would be willing to concede 10% of the project.  If Kate asks for more then he thinks that the Light will go out on the Lighthouse.  He mentions that Wang really has no desire to move the team but Queens and Brooklyn are legit options and are very much in play.  He says Suffolk isn’t a serious option.  For more view the link below:
