Chris Pronger=Dirt Bag!

Well in case you don’t know in the second period today Pronger left his mark on #1 overall pick John Tavares by shoving him from behind face first into the boards and supposedly knocking one of his teeth out. In my opinion Pronger should receive a 1-2 game suspension plus fine for the hit because he drove his face into the boards from behind and the puck was no where near him. Also it is Chris Pronger with his reputation need I say more?

Pre Game: Isles @ Flyers!

Tonight at 7 PM on Versus our New York Islanders will take on the Philidelphia Flyers from the Wachovia center. The Flyers will be without forward Daniel Carcillo who is serving a 4 game suspension for his boneheaded play on Saturday. But the Isles will be with d-man Brendan Witt who was hit by a car today. Expect the usual forward and d line parings and Marty Biron going up against his old team.

Brendan Witt hurt?

According to Newsdays Katie Strang Islander d-man was hit by a car today in Philidelphia. Onlookers were very surprised when Witt walked out seemingly unscathed and yes he will play in tonights game against the Flyers. Amazing the guy gets hit by a car and doesn’t take a night off. Sure the guy is slow and what not but things like this is why you have to at least respect Brendan Witt.
