Well this game was a little better then last nights but not much. Here are my notes:
-Soft goal from Roli cost us the game! Why in the world did he kick it out instead of covering up? Did he not see the opposition on the doorstep? Maybe his eye sight is going.
-Where was the team today? For a majority of the first two pd’s and the end of the third the team was non existent being outplayed by the Leafs. The freaking Toronto Maple-Leafs. I know we aren’t a playoff team but we are sure better then that.
-Why is Sim on this team? he made a pretty good play toward the end of a pd but thats it. Time for some new blood, Garth needs to bring in reinforcements. Not saying trade the farm but a guy like Jason Cullimore wouldn’t be a bad idea.
-Refs were etchy
-Toskala played well!! Considering all we heard about is how crappy he is he played pretty well tonight
If you have anything to add post it in comments

Well they did it they survived this long stretch of road games while hopefully with a win tonight maintaining a 500 record. Tonight from Toronto our New York Islanders will pay Phil Kessel and the Toronto Mapleleafs a visit. In case you haven’t heard both Tim Jackman and Sean Bergenheim will not be in the line up today as they were both flown back to LI to be evaluated. Expect Comeau and Schremp to start. Here is my lineup assuming they are the ones who get the call:
Moulson-Tavares-Okposo
Comeau-Nielsen-Hunter
Sim/Schremp-Bailey-Tamby
Thompson-Park/Schremp-Park/Sim
Also would it be to much to ask to take Jon Sim off the power-play? I am sorry but he doesn’t belong on the powerplay. I think they should be Schremp on third line LW and move Sim to 4th line RW for tonights game because it would give Bailey a more skilled forward to help him get going. In case you didn’t know young Bailey hasn’t recorded a shot on goal in 4 games. But more then likely Schremp will be the 4th line center because for some reason Gordan doesn’t think he can play anywhere but wing. Your guess is as good as mine as to why the coach feels that way. Also expect Roli back in net tonight, hopefully he doesn’t need to make a million saves again for us to get the win. If we can stop Kessel I think we will have a great shot and they were able to stop Kovy a couple weeks ago so I wouldn’t put it past them.
