Well tonight from MSG our New York Islanders defeated the New York Gaboriks 2-1. Here are my notes from the game:
-If Thompsons hurt do you play Tamby or call up toughness? That is tough because without Thompson you really have know toughness but Tamby usually plays well against the Rags.
-The atmosphere wasn’t there at all!! The atmosphere for Coliseum Ranger games beats this all day!!
-More Islander fans present then I thought which was a plus!
-Roli should be in net tomorrow! But will he? Check pointblank or Katie Strangs Islander blog tomorrow morning to find out.
-Sean Avery showed why he is the biggest *&*((((^%$%^&** in hockey tonight mugging Dwayne Roloson after he gave him a shot in the leg after he interfered with him.
-D played worlds better then it did on Monday
-Also Torts postgame presser made me laugh! He cursed so much
If you have anything to add post in comments

Tonight our NY Islanders will be traveling over enemy lines into MSG to take on the broadway blueskirts. Tonights game will start at 7 PM and I believe will be on MSG +2 unless you want the Rag announcers which will be on one of the MSG’s I am assuming. Here are tonights starting lineups as per Chris Botta from islanderspointblank.com:
For the Islanders:
Moulson - Tavares - Comeau
Joensuu - Schremp - Hunter
Bailey - Nielsen - Okposo
Sim - Thompson - Park
Streit - Meyer
Sutton - Hillen
Witt - MacDonald
Gervais
Roloson
Biron
and for the Rangers:
Higgins - Dubinsky- Gaborik
Prospal - Drury - Callahan
Avery - Anisimov - Kotalik
Brashear - Boyle - Lisin
Staal - Rozsival
Del Zotto - Girardi
Redden - Heikkinen
Lundqvist
Johnson
All we need to do is contain Gabby and shoot high on the Queen and will we get the two points.
Lastly for those going tonight god speed and maybe I will see you there!

While he didn’t say anything that we didn’t already know this is the first time since 10/3 he has made any public comments. They can be viewed below:
“New York Islanders owner Charles Wang stopped on his way into the meeting and took a couple questions about the uncertain future of his team after an Oct. 3 deadline passed with no decision on the Lighthouse project that would see a new arena built on Long Island.
Wang acknowledged that he’s taking calls from people interested in bringing the Islanders to their city, but declined to identify them: “I don’t want to do this in the press. You understand.”
He was noncommittal when asked if the team still have a future in Long Island.
“Yeah, I hope so,” said Wang. “Whatever happens, happens.”"

Based off what I have been reading the Lighthouse isn’t looking to good but it isn’t over. But it seems as though Brooklyn and Queens are very much in play. We will see what happens but at least we have options to stay in the NY metro area.
