Murray: Lighthouse=West Side of Manhattan!

In a recent interview Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray compared the Lighthouse Project to the west side of Manhattan.  A link can be found below! 

Is she kidding me???  Even if it was so what???  If it gets the economy going puts people to work and makes the area look nicer plus the road improvements and stuff what is the downside??  I will tell you it is that the right pockets aren’t being lined so the high up republicans don’t want this getting done.  Meaning Joe Mondello and Al D’amato.  You can see a great article on D’amato and the Lighthouse in newsday a couple months ago.  It is amazing to me how someone as incompetant as her could hold a position of such importance like this.  Even more amazing is that the people keep electing her with landslide wins.  What does that say for the people of the town??  It says they vote for the party line no matter who is running rather then how each candidate views different issues.  That is a d@mn shame if you ask me!  Post your thoughts in comments!
