Post Game: The second can you believe it game of the week!! Isles win 4-0!

Today for a sell-out crowd our New York Islanders outplayed the division leading Devils en-route to a 4-0 win.  This is our second can you believe it game of the week the last three games vs the Sabres, Wings, and Devils we have only given up three goals.  We now currently have sole grasp of 8th place.  Here are some of my notes from the game:

-Great getting the shut-out for DP!!
-Nice crowd again for the second game in a row and I am hearing next weeks devils game should be well attended.  An Isles employee said they were expecting more people on Saturday then there was today and if you were there you know that it was packed!
-Another phantom call robs Richard Park of a goal.  Poor Park two games in a row with two goals and they are both wrongly waved off.  Poor Poor guy!
-We are in 8th place!!  Who would’ve thought that this late in the season we would be in a playoff spot.
-This team is learning how to win!!  We put them away in period three instead of giving them the chance to get back into it although they did have sustained pressure which I could have done without.  But it is great and am I the only one who when the buzzer rang and scanning the crowd just brought a smile to my face.

If you have anything to add post in comments

Next Game: Tomorrow VS PIT (Lets see if we can keep our good play up against Cindy and the rest of the defending champs)

Pre Game: Isles VS Devils!

Update 1:45 - DP is in net

This afternoon Kyle Okposo and our New York Islanders will be playing host to Marty Brodeur and the Devils.  Expect the same lineup as recently with Roloson in net.  In case you didnt see Patrick Elias got taken out by a big hit on Saturday and is quest. playing today.  That would be a big loss for the Devils should he not play.  Lets hope we can get a huge win today and keep the hot streak going!  Also keep grasp of the 8th spot in the east.
